Chapon specializes in chocolate mousses and other chocolate-based goods since 1985. The founder was the official ice cream maker of the British Royal Family at one point in his career.
There are multiple locations in Paris from my understanding, but I stopped by the rue du Bac location since it was nearby Musee Rodin. I had the Peru Chocolate Mousse at the recommendation of the sales associate serving me at the time - and it did not disappoint. I’ve never had ice cream like this before, so this was a pleasant experience for me.
They also have other packaged goods that you can take home with you as souvenirs or order online through their e-commerce site.
